Summer learning journey

 I think the best time of year for tourist to visit is summer because in summer they can experience the hot whether and they can enjoy their day without having to stay inside if it is raining. I think the best time of year is summer because I love summer because I get to play outside and I get to swim.

    Kia ora Morgan,

    You have come up with some great reasons as to why you think tourists should come visit our country in the summer. The hot weather sure is nice here! I've been to Australia as well as South Africa in the summer time and it honestly gets too hot to do anything! We're lucky that our summers hardly reach the 30 degrees Celsius mark otherwise we would be tired and exhausted everyday. I like that you have thought about the rain here, it rains quite often in winter so it would be great for tourists to come visit in summer and avoid the rain, I agree with you on that one.

    What do you like to play when you are outside in the summer sun? The sun shines quite harshly over New Zealand so don't forget to keep yourself protected while you have fun under the sun. I also enjoy swimming, it's one of my favourite things to do! Do you go to beaches to swim or do you prefer to swim in the pools? I prefer to swim in the pools because the beaches are too salty to me.
