1. My mum- because would be so prod of me even if I didn't win.
2. My Dad -Because he would make me want to win.
3. My Aunt- Because she does everything with me and she always tells me to give it ago.

ReplyDeleteMy name is Rachel and I am working with the Summer Learning Journey (SLJ) programme team this year. It is wonderful to see that you have joined us on the journey this summer and completed a number of activities already!
For this particular activity I can see that you would like to invite your family to join you on the Taupo Cycle Race. I can completely relate as I, too, would want to invite my son (Aronui), my partner (Andy) and my sister (Leigh). Like you, they would all be proud of me for doing my best, even if I didn't win. They would also be really supportive and encouraging. Aronui would also try to make us laugh which would help us to pass the time and not focus entirely on how difficult the race was for us! I suspect that my aunt (Kelsey) would also come along to watch as she does a lot with our family. In fact, she was the first person to ever take Leigh and I on an airplane. She surprised us by taking us to Disneyland when we were younger. We grew up in Canada so were able to get onto a plane in Ottawa and fly to Florida in just five hours. It was pretty amazing!
If you could hop on a plane tomorrow, where would you like to go? If I could pick, I would go to Italy because I love pizza and they make the most amazing pizzas in Rome...
